Jaxon Falling off the Bed!!

Yesterday after church, I was changing and so I put Jaxon on the bed for just a minute-long enough to go to my closet and hang up my dress and come back, and watched Jaxon falling to the floor! I was soooooo upset, and worried that he really had hurt himself, because he flipped all the way over and landed on his face. You could see a bump on his forehead, and his nose was a little red, and then I saw blood under his little nose and then he started screaming! He cried for what seemed to be an eternity (only because he never really gets too upset) so I held him until I had to go to a meeting. I really didn't want to leave him since he'd been so upset, but when I came home, he was my smiling, happy little boy again! Today he has a scrape on his nose, but he is still just as happy as he always is! I will never leave him on the bed again, that is for sure!

OUCH!
I hate it when that happens! You feel so bad. I was changing Mel's diaper once and her little leg got caught under a stupid wall heater and she got a nasty burn. They seem to survive us tho... Good thing huh?

You are one good mommy if you made it to 10 months before he fell off anything. Allie fell off the couch when she was only about a month...I was freaking out (it was Alberto's fault) :) Is he trying to walk yet?

You are a good mommy.. I have done so many things like that. One time I was holding Jackson and he flipped out of my hands and he fell on the ground. Luckily I was sitting down, he was like 6 months. I cried more than him :( Now that he is walking, he always has a bruise somewhere :) How are you????? Hope all is well.. Your little Jaxon sure is a cutie!!

Ok Ash, I've left the kids on my bed tons of times... I've been lucky enough to run, and catch them a few times. One time Alexa caught Emma by her foot, and the baby was hanging upside down by the time i got there. Alexa was pretty proud she saved her sister's life!!! Don't worry bout the small stuff:) wait till he's old enough to ride a bike. Thats a nail bitter... You need to come for pannini's:)

Sorry to hear about Jaxon's fall. Falls happen so quickly it's crazy. Savannah fell a few weeks ago and we thought her leg was broken. Good thing kids are resilient! Jaxon is still adorable even with the scrapes!

How sad! I have been warned that it is not a matter of if Kylee falls off the bed or couch but when. I think it happens to all of us. I have heard a few stories just like your the past couple of days. I'm glad that nothing serious happened to him. What a tough little guy.

That is awesome that he is walking already. Allie started off by scooting on her bum, but eventually picked up on crawling, it is funny to watch though! Mine are both walking along furniture and standing up alone, but no steps yet and that is ok with me :)Both babies are pretty attached to both of us, they know daddy means fun and mommy means food and cuddles. It is funny though cause Allie had been super clingy to me for about a month now the past week and a half she is a total daddy's girl. She cries when he puts her down and follows him around whimpering. She always whispers dada. Do you have big plans for Jaxon's first birthday? It is right around the corner!

Oh Ashlee, I hate when that happens! His poor nose. I'm glad he was ok and even more glad that you survived such trauma.

Oh and I keep forgetting to tell you, I read A Daily Scoop too. Man she is so inspiring!
