Homemade Chocolate Frosties
Here is a recipe I was given for homemade Chocolate Frosties. It's a great way to use up your powdered milk! Give it a try, you will love it!
Homemade Chocolate Frosties
1 1/2 - 2 cups ICE water- really, really cold.
1 1/2 cups non-fat dry milk powder
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
2-3 cups ice cubes
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
Place ALL the ingredients in the blender, including the oil. Use less water for a thicker milkshake or more for a shake that’s easier on your blender motor. With lid on, process for two minutes. Makes about 4 shakes.

Rag Quilts
Me and my "work of art" now I see how sewing can be addicting! I made this for a friend who had just had her baby! I was so happy that I even finished something, that I actually had a harder time than I thought when I gave it away! I knew that it would be used though and that's what made me the most excited! I made it in about 6 days...if I can do it, really ANYONE can!
Jaxon had to check it first....
No seriously, I made this...thankfully rag quilts can hide a lot of mistakes!
It was so fun making this...I just wish that I could find some cute flannel prints to make one for Jaxon!

Saving Cents...
I am getting addicted to saving money! Who isnt these days though right? I have been looking at TONS of sites lately that teach you how to save more money, just by using the coupons that come in the Sunday paper. Today I went to Alberton's and purchased all this for only $11.85, I saved a total of $24.32-I also got 2 gallons of milk for free! YIPEE! I also went to Walmart and got a couple deals too, but I got a ton at Albertson's!!

Good Times w/ Wally
Today was the grand opening of the Hurricane Wal-mart! Jaxon and I had a lot of fun...getting great deals and of course seeing all the cute fun characters! Jaxon was ok with seeing most of them far away, but then when they would be up close to him, he was not too sure of their intentions! There was the Pillsbury Doe Boy, and the Tiger from Cheetos, and a green M&M guy (who Jax was most nervous with until we saw him a couple times walking around and finally gave a high-five after mommy did it)! There was also a life-sized Indiana Jones character made completely of Legos, and the Green Giant, and of course Jaxon's favorite, Hot Pocket guy, who gave out temporary tatoos! There was even a fire truck outside...Jaxon has a toy fire truck that he loves but he was even more excited to see a real fire truck drive by, especially when the driver waived to Jaxon! It was fun to have free hot dogs and drinks too, cause Jax loves them like his grandpa!! I know that I'm easily entertained but ya can't help but feel good about getting great deals and free food!

Jaxon 4 Wheeling
This is the first time Jaxon has pushed the button so the 4-wheeler will go! He seemed nervous at first but he then he got excited that he knew how to do it. He was on it for only 5 min. or so before he was ready to get off and go to play in his wagon!
